Bernd joined Unite in 2010 as head of business development after spending 10 years as the founder and managing director of a low-latency exchange trading solution. Today he is responsible for Unite’s strategic markets and sales agenda, ensuring the Unite Network scales sustainably. He has been instrumental in implementing our sales structure, understanding our customers by building processes and relationships for intense feedback, and aligning our systems architecture with market demands.

With a background in electrical engineering, IT, and psychology, Bernd is fascinated by how things work, complex connections and the interplay between technology and humankind. "Sustainability is the competition where cooperation always wins," said Bernd. "We’re investing into this with every step we take. Sometimes we make mistakes, but what matters most is that we are always learning."
