Anup Manota has come from a background of Finance & Management and prior to working at Karma Nirvana he was working for Leeds Metropolitan University as an Assistant Accountant. 

Anup has been part of the Karma Nirvana team since 2007 and has played a significant role in the strategic development of the project. 

Anup has supported victims of Honour Based Abuse and Forced Marriage on the Karma Nirvana Honour Network helpline and is currently the Operations Manager leading on management and reporting for Karma Nirvana and is responsible for funding applications, financial & charity reporting, structural & strategic developments within the charity, including daily management and co-ordinating helpline statistics. 

Anup also supports Karma Nirvana through delivering training and raising awareness nationally. With over 5 years’ experience of public speaking, Anup offers a male’s approach to these heinous crimes.  

Approaching his busy workload with a high degree of commitment and good-humoured intelligence, it’s no wonder Anup is a man who says he likes a challenge!
