Jonny Hoyle is a care experienced Social Worker in North Yorkshire. Jonny has held many roles during his career and is the group manager responsible for supporting care leavers, refugees and young people seeking asylum. This is the same Leaving Care Service that offered him a service over 20 years ago.

Prior to this, Jonny was the Development Lead in North Yorkshire, leading the development of multi award winning technology projects which harness the power and potential of AI, in an ethically informed way, to improve the services that are offered to children, young people and their families.

Jonny is also a trustee at Coram Voice in addition to Lawyers Who Care who aim to support care experienced people entering into the legal professions and an ambassador for Comfort Cases UK who raise money to provide suitcases to children in care so that they don’t move with their belongings in bin bags.

Jonny is also the chair of the Moving On Up Network. The moving on up network is a collaboration of likeminded organisations from all sectors who come together to highlight how great apprenticeships can be for care leavers or those with care experience.
