Lydia is an award-winning digital sustainability specialist within government, working for Defra. She chairs the cross-government steering group on digital sustainability and leads the Government Digital Sustainability Alliance (GDSA) on behalf of government. Her sustainability initiatives, which have included the roll out of refurbished devices and esim across Defra group have led to multiple award wins for their innovative approach, sustainability credentials and cost savings to the department. She is currently writing the Digital Sustainability Strategy for government, due to be published later this year
