Dr. Andrea Paulillo is a Senior Research Fellow in the Department of Chemical Engineering at University College London. He also co-founded eLoop, an Italian boutique consultancy firm, of which he is Director. In his research and professional activity, Andrea specializes in the methodological development of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and its application to conventional and emerging technologies, including for power generation, (nuclear) waste management, low-carbon fuels, and (bio)plastics. To support his research activities, Andrea participated in several successful research grants, including H2020, EPSRC and BEIS, and obtained funding from industry. He was appointed academic consultant to numerous projects for industry and charities. He authored 20+ peer-reviewed articles and 2 book chapters on LCA methodology and case studies.
