Su has worked at Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service and now Greater Manchester Combined Authority since 2015, starting as a Learning and Development Adviser, being promoted to Learning and Development Manager in 2019 and more recently works as the Head of Culture and Inclusion. This role brought plenty of challenges as the Fire and Rescue Sector was going through a huge and very public culture change nationally. Listening, learning and data analysis really brought together the much needed change in this area.  

In her spare time Su is a wife, mother, Local Councillor, UNISON Steward, Salford Litter Hero and reluctant runner.
