Lisa Shoko is a consultant, strategist, and advocate for equity and justice, with a specialism in race, inclusion, and leadership. Since 2019, she has been driving meaningful change by combining strategic expertise with an unwavering commitment to social impact.

As Co-Chair of the Liverpool City Region Race Equality Panel, Lisa has been instrumental in shaping policy and advancing racial equity—particularly within the health sector. Her leadership has influenced system-wide reform, turning inclusion from an aspirational concept into a lived reality for communities across the region.

Lisa is the founder of Venekai, an organisation dedicated to transforming organisational culture. Venekai equips leaders and teams with the tools, frameworks, and confidence to build workplaces that are genuinely inclusive and equitable. Its work spans culture diagnostics, senior leadership coaching, and anti-racism in healthcare—delivering strategies that are measurable, sustainable, and rooted in accessibility and structural reform.

Known for her ability to create spaces where difficult conversations lead to tangible change, Lisa works seamlessly across sectors—from executives and healthcare professionals to grassroots organisers—bringing clarity, depth, and vision to every collaboration.

Beyond her professional work, Lisa finds joy in reading feminist and critical race theory, exploring new places and cultures, and watching thought-provoking documentaries. She restores balance through scenic walks and ecotherapy, keeping her perspective grounded and her approach human.
