Katherine Sparkes MBE is an ethical entrepreneur and charity changemaker. Katherine founded and runs a corporate responsibility consultancy which helps businesses function ethically and responsibly as well as providing management consultancy services to the third sector. This includes her current role as CEO of STEM charity, Lightyear Foundation as well as other Charity CEO roles – from launching science labs across Africa to championing Trusteeship as way to give back whilst developing leadership skills. She has worked with global corporations such as KPMG, Accenture and Credit Suisse, as well as with the British government, where she is a regular speaker at the Cabinet Office.


Katherine also founded two charities; accessible fashion charity, Styleablity (now part of Props) and inclusive dance charity Flamingo Chicks. She sits on a variety of Boards such as University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust and is an Ambassador for Junior Chamber International. Katherine has won awards for her contribution to the global community most notably JCI’s Ten Young Outstanding Young Persons of the World Award in 2012 and a Point Of Light Award from the Prime Minister.
