Jacqueline Thompson is a Nurse Consultant for Elderly Care in North Cumbria Integrated NHS Trust.  She has worked in the NHS for 27 years in a variety of clinical settings.  For a number of years she was the lead facilitator for the 'Adult deteriorating patient in the community' where sepsis awareness and education was a key part of this development day for community nurses.  She is passionate about improving care for older people
