Nicole recently joined the Safety and Learning Team as a Clinical Fellow – Diabetes with special interest Lower Limb.

Nicole graduated from the University of Western Australia in 2011 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Podiatric Medicine. Since this time she has worked in acute and community healthcare settings in both Western Australia and the United Kingdom.

Nicole began her career as a Graduate Podiatrist at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital – one of Australia’s leading teaching tertiary hospitals. During her graduate year she also undertook a role where she provided education sessions to patients with Diabetes, focusing on understanding and preventing lower limb complications. Nicole has maintained a passion for education and is a strong believer in the importance of preventative healthcare initiatives.

Nicole has specialised in the management of Diabetic Lower Limb pathology and has vast experience working across multiple trusts.

Nicole is a strong advocate for multidisciplinary working, and helped to establish a Joint Podiatry / Orthotic clinic at her previous trust. She is also passionate about research and in 2017 travelled to Portugal to present a research abstract on the subject offloading Diabetic Foot Ulcers.

Nicole is committed to improving outcomes for patients with Diabetes and lower limb complications, as is excited to be working at NHS Resolution as a Clinical Fellow.
