Tony joined the NHS in 2015, having previously worked as a company director in the private sector supporting small and startup businesses to embrace and enhance their web presence and online operations. Since joining the NHS he has held roles across Health Education England, NHS Leadership Academy and NHS England and is now part of the team at NHS Digital Academy, supporting colleagues across the NHS to use technology better.

He is a geek at heart and is passionate about enabling as many people as possible to access and take advantage of the improvements possible through digital tools, and at looking at the ways we can improve implementations so they have better outcomes for patients and staff.

Outside of work Tony is also a local councillor and a foster carer, and can frequently be found tinkering with 3d printers.
