Emma has served as a civil servant for 19 years in 3 department, MOD, BEIS and currently DWP. In her current role She is responsible for setting the strategic direction for Health and Safety management within DWP. While ensuring that DWP fulfils all legal duties in relation to people/process related health and safety and working closely with my estates counterparts to ensure a safe working environment. Ensuring that she provide the systems to keep 94,000 staff safe while providing a safe job centre environment for the most vulnerable in society to get the help and support they need.

Previous roles have seen her lead safety management on RAF Stations and further afield in conflict zones around the world.
