Jennie Stone works in the Workforce, Training and Education Directorate at NHS England as the London Apprenticeship Relationship Manager. She supports employers develop and implement apprenticeships across the health, social care, and public health sectors, from clinical apprenticeships to corporate and leadership standards. Jennie started working in the NHS back in 1999 and has been involved in NHS apprenticeships for the past 15 years. Jennie also works nationally on key strategic apprenticeship areas, and those trusts she supports regularly achieve success with their education, retention, and employment strategies. A clinical educator and large employer apprenticeship lead by background, Jennie is an advocate for the widening participation and community anchor potential of apprenticeships ensuring employers’ workforces reflect the communities they serve, and deliver equity and inclusion for previously disadvantaged and underrepresented groups, whilst bringing specialist knowledge and guidance that will support the NHS in developing high quality apprenticeships.
