Naomi Phillips is Deputy Chief Executive and Director of Policy and Research at Learning and Work Institute (L&W), a leading research and development organisation, and think tank, focus on employment, inclusion and skills. Prior to this, Naomi was at British Red Cross for five years, as their first-ever Director of Policy and Advocacy. Naomi's held other senior positions in national charities, and has experience in local and national government, and regulation. L&W have a wealth of research and insights on apprenticeships, and their focus is on improving access and quality, and tackling inequalities, to ensure that: everyone who can do an apprenticeship, has the chance to do so, and that apprenticeships lead to genuine benefits to individuals and employers.
