Yasmin Khan is the Chief Executive of the Staying Put Group and a highly accomplished leader with over 25 years’ experience across women’s rights, gender-based violence prevention, mental health, wellbeing and supported housing. An MBA graduate from the University of Huddersfield (2010), she is driven by a strong commitment to building inclusive, safe and empowering services for vulnerable people and communities.

She is Chair of the Yorkshire Regional Domestic Abuse Housing Alliance (DAHA), leading cross-sector collaboration to strengthen housing responses to domestic abuse and improve outcomes for survivors. Yasmin also contributes to regional leadership as a member of the West Yorkshire Women Leaders Network and provides strategic advice to the West Yorkshire Combined Authority on third sector engagement.

Previously, Yasmin was an Independent Member of the West Yorkshire Integrated Care Board (ICB) Leeds Committee until 2026. In this role, she held a number of senior governance positions, including Chair of the Leeds Health Inequalities Sub-Committee and Equality Impact Assessment Panels and Deputy Chair of the Finance, Value & Performance and Quality & People’s Experience Sub-Committees.

A passionate and inclusive leader, Yasmin brings over 30 years of experience in strategic leadership, governance and systems thinking across executive and non-executive roles. Her career spans the voluntary and charity sector, social housing, NHS system leadership and international humanitarian work, with a consistent focus on safeguarding and improving outcomes for vulnerable communities.

Yasmin has a strong track record of leading high-performing teams and boards, influencing policy and driving system-wide transformation at both regional and national levels. She is a committed advocate for equity, dignity and lasting social change, working to improve life chances for those most in need.
