Gavin Stafford is an Advocacy and Support Manager at Galop, specialising in LGBT+ abuse and violence. Gavin brings a wealth of experience in supporting young people, families and adults experiencing in exploitation, honour based violence, domestic abuse and sexual violence. Galop is the UK’s LGBT+ anti-abuse charity, working directly with thousands of LGBT+ victims and survivors of abuse every year. Galop runs an LGBT+ anti abuse and violence national helpline, provides longer-term advocacy on a national scale, and therapeutic support. Galop has been at the forefront of challenging anti-LGBT+ abuse since 1982 and is proud to be an LGBT+ by and for organisation.
