Naomi Johnson is an advocate for neurodiversity and disability inclusion, having previously worked in strategic leadership at Amazon as Disability Inclusion Leader for Amazon Worldwide Stores and Co-Director of Neurodiversity for the Amazon Disability AG/ERG Global Board.

As a neurodivergent person, undiagnosed for many years, Naomi’s diverse career spanning over 2 decades across multiple sectors like retail, legal, and banking, shows what is possible, and that traditional narratives of neurodivergency need challenging.

Naomi's deep personal connection to neurodiversity, having been diagnosed as autistic at 37 and with ADHD at 41, enhances her advocacy, making her an authentic spokesperson for her community. Recognized among the Top 80 Neurodiversity Evangelists in the UK, she is an active public speaker who shares her insights and experiences to promote a broader understanding of neurodiversity and disability in the workplace.

Now serving as a consultant in Disability and Neurodiversity Inclusion Strategy, Naomi leverages her experience to drive change in organizations worldwide, embedding inclusive practices into corporate strategies. Her transition to focusing exclusively on disability inclusion strategy and DEI in 2020 marked a significant shift, expanding her impact from 10 EU countries to a global scale, influencing over a million employees.

Championing the social model of disability, Naomi advocates for universal design and equity in all aspects of life and work. Her initiatives have pioneered more inclusive hiring practices, improved accessibility accommodations, and stronger support structures within workplaces globally. Naomi Johnson’s commitment to advancing disability inclusion and neurodiversity reflects her personal crusade to dismantle barriers and foster a more inclusive society where every individual can thrive.
