Kim Hoque is Professor of Human Resource Management and Vice Dean (People and Culture) at King’s Business School. He has researched and published widely in the human resource management, employment relations and equality, diversity and inclusion fields. In 2013 he co-founded the Disability@Work research group (www.disabilityatwork.co.uk) and in 2021, along with leading charities and trade unions, he co-founded the Disability Employment Charter (www.disabilityemploymentcharter.org), which outlines the policies the Charter’s founders and signatories believe the government needs to implement to address disability employment disadvantage. Kim also leads KBS’s provision of the secretariat to the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Disability. He is on the editorial boards of Human Relations, Journal of Management, and Industrial Relations Journal. He is an international project adviser to the Japan Institute of Labour Policy and Training, and has previously conducted consultancy work for NHS Scotland, the UK Commission for Employment and Skills, and the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
