Francesca started working for Morecambe Bay Hospitals Trust in June 2021 having made a positive choice to move into a role where she could work to improve diversity and inclusion in the workplace. In her role as Inclusion and Engagement Adviser, she works with people from across the Trust, promoting diversity and equality, to ensure that it is a truly inclusive organisation.

As someone with a visual impairment, she was keen to work for an employer who genuinely values diversity and supports people to be able to do the best job possible. She is enjoying being able to fully contribute in this role, combining her knowledge and experience of Human Resources and a lived experience of what it’s like to have a disability in the workplace as well as contributing to diversity and inclusion across all areas. In her free time, she is a keen runner, hill-walker and climber, and loves being out in the hills.
