I am an experienced Information Governance professional and currently serve as Head of Information Governance at Health Innovation Manchester. With 45 years in the NHS, I lead Information Governance for the North West Secure Data Environment and act as Joint Deputy Chair of the National Strategic IG Network (SIGN). My previous roles include positions at NHS England, and over 30 years with a Mental Health Trust in Greater Manchester.  I have led the IG on several innovative programmes, including a regional shared care record and advanced analytics platforms enabling data sharing across more than 400 data controllers.
