Graham has worked in mission-critical IT since graduating in Biology from the University of York in 1997 and has worked in diagnostics and clinical IT since 2003.
He has worked in a variety of NHS and software vendor roles. For four years, he was a Technical and Test Assurance Manager for the National PACS programme, which involved considerable onsite work at supplier datacentres and NHS sites across England. Since leaving the NHS in 2012, he has spent 15 years in commercial roles working with enterprise imaging, VNA/clinical content in the UK, US, Netherlands and Nordics.
Since 2018, his work has also encompassed AI, machine learning, data management/ data science and compliance and standards for data-driven technologies. He was a Senior Product Manager at IBM Watson Health, worked for migration and data supply provider DesAcc and currently works as a Solution Architect for Harrison.ai (formerly Annalise.ai).
He is one of the UK’s most experienced practitioners of AI deployment and health system dataflow and workflow, and has participated in national and international working groups, including techUK AI/Data science and Health & Social Care groups. He currently chairs the AXREM industry body AI Special Focus group.
Despite his technical background, he comes from a healthcare family and has always had a strong interest in public health policy and its intersection with technology.
