Senior Lecturer in Cyber Security

Dr. Mohammed Al-Khalidi is an Associate Professor in Cyber Security at Manchester Metropolitan University, UK, where he leads the Cyber Security Research Lab and directs the MSc Cyber Security Programme. His research focuses on the intersection of artificial intelligence and cyber security. He has led research and knowledge exchange projects worth over £800,000, funded by organisations including UK Research and Innovation (UKRI), the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT), and EPSRC Cyber Focus. He also conducted a review for DSIT on the cyber security risks to AI, contributing to work that shaped UK government policy and global standards. He regularly serves as a reviewer for leading journals and has co-organised major conferences in cyber security and AI.
