Adam Nickerson is a Digital & IT Leader specialising in commercial, technical, and programme delivery assurance. As a sourcing & transformation specialist, he loves helping organisations in Healthcare and wider Public Services: use technology to improve the lives of their patients, citizens and workforce; and deliver outcomes from robust commercial deals.

At NHS Shared Business Services (NHS SBS), Adam leads a team of Digital & IT procurement specialists who provide deep market-specific insight, expertise and support across all procurement services NHS SBS provides, whether that be advisory, procurement as a service, or access to procurement framework agreements. He and his team act as a trusted commercial ‘go to’ partner for the Healthcare system at national, regional and local levels.

Prior to this, over 14 years in technology consulting, Adam provided IT strategy, procurement advice and delivered large complex IT change programmes for a range of private and Public Sector clients across the UK and internationally including NHS, Local Authorities, Department of Health (Ambulance Radio Programme) and Ministry of Defence.
