Bozena joined DWP as the Director Counter Fraud, Compliance and Debt in August 2019 where she leads around 8,500 people across 6 different business areas. Prior to that, she spent nearly 15 years at HMRC where she qualified as a Tax Inspector and led teams which tackled serious fraud, illegal working and tax avoidance.

She is an experienced senior leader with a track record of delivering change and results through a focus on People and customers. With experience as both a Marketing and a Tax Professional, she has a deep knowledge of cross government counter fraud work.
