Joanne is Director of Housing and Regeneration at Enfield Council – a borough with extreme housing pressures.

She has transformed the approach to homelessness prevention in the Borough with the introduction of a new Housing Advisory Service providing a focus on upstream prevention as well as a number of policy and partnership interventions to influence behaviour change of residents and landlords and stronger partnership housing solutions.

She is also responsible for housing growth leading a 3,500 home council house building programme and the regeneration of growth areas in the borough. Ensuring that housing is linked and supports the core priorities of the Council is an important priority for a modern Council housing service whilst ensuring its high quality of housing and responsiveness to vulnerable people.

Joanne is also co-chair of London Council’s Housing Directors.
