Charmaine heads up sustainability at Nottingham Trent University, being responsible for developing strategy and its successful implementation, particularly on net zero carbon and works closely with the University Executive Team, external partners, the Students’ Union as well as Academic Schools and Professional Services, to do this. Before joining NTU, Charmaine worked as a sustainability leader in numerous sectors, including construction, infrastructure, manufacturing and consultancy and is a passionate advocate for achieving positive environmental and social outcomes, as an innovative ambassador for sustainability. A Chartered Environmentalist, Charmaine heads up the Sustainability Team and together, they act as pathfinders for the NTU community to net zero carbon.
