Helen Tung is a barrister, strategic advisor, and futurist working at the intersection of law, space, AI, and global security. She helps governments, organisations, and innovators build responsible regulatory systems for an era defined by rapid technological change.

With over a decade of cross-border legal and policy experience, Helen’s work focuses on developing governance frameworks that connect innovation, ethics, and strategy — ensuring that emerging technologies advance human progress while maintaining trust, transparency, and resilience.  She was one of the Founding members of the now current MASS working group, examining regulations on autonomous vessels.  Alongside her practice she also teaches Disputes, Legal Research, Intellectual Property at the University of Huddersfield.
