Dr Aswin Thampy is a medical doctor, NHS Fellow in Clinical AI and founder of AyrisIQ, an AI-enabled governance and assurance platform for healthcare organisations.

He has held senior clinical leadership roles in primary care, leading digital transformation, clinical safety, governance and the implementation of AI-enabled technologies across services supporting more than 100,000 patients. His work has included the deployment of ambient voice technology, AI-assisted triage and document processing, alongside digital clinical safety and operational transformation.

Aswin holds a postgraduate qualification in AI in Healthcare from the University of Warwick and is currently undertaking an NHS Clinical AI Fellowship at The Christie, focused on the use of natural language processing for rapid learning in oncology.

His work focuses particularly on the practical implementation, governance and assurance of AI in healthcare, and how organisations can move safely from experimentation to routine clinical use.
