As Deputy Director of Digital Transformation at NHS England, within the NHS Transformation Directorate, Rhod leads programmes that accelerate the development, assurance and national rollout of digital technologies across the NHS. 

He currently leads the national scaling of Ambient Voice Technology across care settings, helping clinical teams reduce administrative burden and embed advanced technologies safely into frontline care.

Rhod’s portfolio has included major innovation and ecosystem‑focused initiatives such as the Digital Health Partnership Award, the Digital Technology Assessment Criteria (DTAC), NHS and COVID App development and work to improve patient access to digital tools and therapeutics. 

He brings extensive private‑sector experience across politics, finance, media and creative industries, where he previously led large‑scale digital transformation programmes.
