Natasha Motsi is a Technical Programme Manager at the UK’s Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), where she leads the design and delivery of projects within the AI Airlock regulatory sandbox. She works with industry, clinicians, academics and regulators to identify and address real-world challenges in the regulation and deployment of AI in healthcare. Her work focuses on key cross-cutting issues including human–AI interaction, model performance and inaccuracies, explainability, post-market monitoring, and the use of synthetic data. Natasha has a background in pharmaceutical market access and launch strategy, and holds a PhD in Bioengineering from Imperial College London, where she investigated cytokine therapy as an adjunctive treatment for invasive fungal lung infections.
