Chris Howarth is UK Public Sector Sales Manager at BigID, the data security, privacy and AI governance platform used by enterprises and governments to find, classify and protect sensitive data at scale. In his current role, he leads engagement with UK central government, healthcare, LRG and HE — helping them build the data foundations required for safe, defensible AI adoption.

Chris has spent more than 15 years in enterprise software, with previous senior roles at Databricks and Alteryx covering data analytics, governance and enterprise data platforms in the public sector. He works closely with the major UK systems integrators — on joint public sector go-to-market activities.

He is a regular LinkedIn commentator on data governance, AI readiness and government data & AI transformation. Outside work, he trains in Muay Thai, enjoys road cycling and walking his three dogs.
