Caroline Collier

Inclusion Barnet

Caroline is the founding CEO of Inclusion Barnet, a Deaf and Disabled People’s Organisation (DDPO) which delivers services to disabled people and the wider community in the borough of Barnet, also taking part in national conversations on disability rights and related topics. She devised and oversaw the development of the well-received Peer Support in Practice and DDPO Management Handbook, as well as designing local services to meet disabled people’s needs. Perhaps uniquely for a DDPO, under Caroline’s leadership Inclusion Barnet currently also hold the contract to support the local voluntary sector and deliver Healthwatch Barnet.

Prior to joining and leading Barnet Centre for Independent Living, the forerunner to Inclusion Barnet, in 2010, she previously worked as a librarian, overseeing an international professional library, and as a writer and editor specialising in the construction industry.
